In a context of integration and regional
solidarity policies, CLACSO proposed to strengthen their links with the University of
the State of Haiti (UEH), driving the implementation of an International Postgraduate
School of CLACSO in Haiti in which would be developed three graduate programs.
The purpose of this International School is to offer Haitian men and women
the ability to access a postgraduate training, without paying a fee, in a public
institution, with the collaboration of a team composed of international teaching
academics from all over Latin America, the Caribbean, Europe, and who also are
authorities in themes related to Haiti.
This school consists in three MASTERS with articulated purposes of academic and professional
training that respond to needs and priorities identified previously, whose scope, criteria
of significance and importance are shared by the UEH and CLACSO, these being:
Education: Policy and Management
Children and Youth Policy
Students are selected based on criteria of academic and professional trajectory excellence, and from a multidisciplinary and a multi-professional approach.
