Life and Thought - Immanuel Wallerstein
This interview with Professor Immanuel Wallerstein was conducted by Lau Kin Chi and Dai Jinhua on 13 August 2016, during the World Social Forum at Montreal, Canada. In this interview, Professor Wallerstein talked about his family background against fascism, African influence on his developing the World System Theory, the student movement of 1968 in the USA, as well as his long-term engagement in the World Social Forum.
The interview was video recorded by Au Yeung Lai Seung and Sit Tsui Jade Margaret, edited by Hyson Lai and Yeung Ching Kiu, and produced by the Global University for Sustainability in August 2016.
